  • Secured Highest Mark in Class X Board Examinations in Mathematics (100%) and General Sciences (99%)

  • Won the General Proficiency Award in Class X in my School

  • Placed in top 10% of students appeared for the National Standard Examination in Physics (Physics Olympiad)

  • Won second prize in Academics during First year in my university.

  • Won the Intercollegiate Physics Quiz at IIT Madras.

  • Won consolation prize in a Business Plan Presentation at IIT Roorkee, which involved Case Studies and a Management Quiz

  • Presented a Paper on “Information Processing in the Cerebellar Cortex

  • Was selected to participate in a Short Course on Computational Neurosciences, conducted by the National Brain Research Centre, Manesar and University of Hyderabad at University of Hyderabad – Oct’ 2004 among 55 people on an All India basis.

  • Won a Prize in Workshop (DSP Acoustyx), IIT Madras in 2006

Interests and Activities:

  • Quizzing (active participation in many Quiz events), reading, Surfing the Internet...

  • Playing Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis

  • Acting in Skits and Dramas in College/Community Association (Bengali Association, T. Nagar)

  • Scientific Endeavors: Was instrumental in forming the Science& Technology Forum in my college, and also held the positions of executive member and subsequently Joint Secretary of the forum.

Why are you not updating your blog, I am a regular reader of your blog, do you think u have nothing tojot down after you graduated as an engineer? Why don't you comment( rather enlighten me) about LHC? how would a layman understand what LHC is? I would be happy if you keep updating your blog
