Congratulations to ISRO , for having successfully launched the Italian "AGILE" satellite. I hope that our government funds this Organization generously for it to enable Fundamental Space Research using X-Ray, Gamma Ray observatories etc. India needs such programmes now. Talking of research, it is very disheartening to see that our country hardly contributes to cutting edge research . Apart from a handful of Institutions such as the IISc , TIFR etc., very few organizations actually carry out serious research. Not even the IIT s contribute to quality research as much they are expected to do so. To add to this, bright minds and talented professionals are siphoned off by the IT companies, which no doubt offer high pay packages but in no way help in Nation-Building, which is of primary importance to India now. Back to Chennai after a 3 day stay at Home-Sweet-Home (Hyderabad)! Summer has set in Big-Time & the mercury is continuing its skyward journey without any regard to the agony of we ordinary mortals! My project is over finally and it has come out in a great shape... with all its circuitries & subsystems working with clockwork precision. Now there's just one month left for my B.Tech education to conclude. Meanwhile, AR Rahman once again proved that he is a Living Legend & an all-time genius, with the Music release of Sivaji-The Boss. The songs, orchestration, music are simply superb; Continue the great work ARR!

Had a brief sabbatical... Project is almost complete and my exams are supposed to wrap up by May end, and by July, I'll be formally graduating as an Electrical Engineer!! Tomorrow is our New Year Day (14th April) or "Poila Boishaak", marking the beginning of a New Year (1414 in Bengali Calendar). AR Rahman's " Pray For Me Brother " is a marvelous piece of work and he has once again proved his mettle. By the way, I too have started composing (rather playing tunes) on FL Studio... Nice software. Of course whenever I'm home, I do spend long amounts of time on the Harmonium.
