The recent Mumbai attacks have left me flabbergasted. It just goes to show how pathetically vulnerable we are. I recently visited Mumbai and I just could not believe the scenes that were unfolding on the tube. This time around the enormity & the severity of the incident is just too great to be ignored. It's as if someone enters your home, ravages it and you the only thing you can do is to be a mute spectator! We as citizens of this country are entitled to security from these kinds of incidents. It is high time now that politicians undertake governance rather than indulging in Politics. I wonder what happened to the party which was formed by a group of intellectuals (including IITians, MBA grads). India now needs a sensible governance now. A hopefully good step in this direction is the formation of the Professionals Party of India. We need to infuse professionalism in the parliament...
